The Windsor Park Golf Course was designed by Golfplan Group from the USA. The team created this natural large park setting on the outskirts of Bangkok, making the course ideal for golf visitors. With a host of colourful plants and trees, the speed of play is relaxed, so you can enjoy the natural surroundings during you game.
Tree-lined fairways, greenside bunkers, sweeping creeks and ponds, and sloping greens are amongst the host of challenges that await you at Windsor Park. 
 
 Windsor Park boasts two 18-hole courses with the A, B and C Courses being older and contrasting D Course coming into action in 2006. The golf course looks to be short, but with water coming into play on almost every hole, which makes accuracy a must. The greens are undulated but on the slow side, which caters for golfers of all abilities.

The Lagoon (A Course) / Palm (B Course) combination, stretches out, to just over 6900 yards, with landscaping along the fairways and around the greens. The A Course opening hole, offers a. tall palm lined fairway, with water coming into play on the very first hole, which protects the approach shot to a well-bunkered green. From the tee, the view will offer a good-width fairway, flanked by bunkering on one side and vast stretch  of open fairway on the other side.

Many approach shots will  include water carries to island greens,  very sharp dog-legs, or deep greenside bunkering. Though some of the holes run side by side to each other, the area in between holes is densely populated by trees and palms.                            The par-3 3rd hole on the B Course features a variety of bunkers from tee and green.

The D course is more of an extreme challenge. These nine holes at Windsor Park play around a man-made lake and requires good course management, and exactly accurate tee and approach shots to prevent balls rolling down into the water. Undulating and close-cut greens can make the challenge even more frustrating, even for the best professional golfers.

 The long par-5 3rd has a canal running down the entire left-hand side, with out of bounds along the right-hand side. The narrow, exceptionally long green, sits on a left angle to the fairway, with an extremely aggressive drive kept left, might be tempting to take on the green in two. But with a full water carry and a small landing area make this a very risky option.

The golf course upkeep is about average as compared to other Bangkok courses. The large clubhouse which overlooks the course, is quite old. Nevertheless, the restaurant serves excellent western breakfasts as well as the usual Thai and Asian selections. The staff at Windsor Park are friendly and attentive.  Request one of the more experienced and English-speaking caddies otherwise green reading and club selection will be difficult.

Windsor Park Golf Club is a favourite among locals and is also popular with Korean golfers. The Course is a decent choice for those looking for a reasonably priced game, close to Bangkok, and away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
